The role

An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Trainee in Kyiv, Ukraine.

They actively foster employee development at every career stage. The traineeship program facilitates an understanding of all aspects of the business in preparation for a future management role in our Commercial team. During your development, you will spend time in at least two of their European locations (which could include Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine and the UK) following a structured learning plan, while gaining practical experience in the trading business. Throughout your traineeship, you will be provided support by a dedicated mentor from the senior commercial team.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Commercial Manager Crush.

Your challenge will be to prepare yourself for further career advancement within the organization by learning all facets of our Oilseeds trading business, including the development of customer needs, the financial implications of trading decisions, contract law and risk management. The program also includes cross-departmental exposure, allowing you to gain insight into commercial links with other business units.

The candidate

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Experience working in a commercial environment — not more then 1 year.
• Internationally mobile — willing to except assignments in different countries at short notice.
• A background, experience or knowledge of agriculture is desired.
• A degree in a Business / Commercial discipline, ideally with an agricultural focus.
• Good communication and presentation skills: fluent in English.
• Assertive, result oriented, flexible, enthusiastic and a team player.
